OHH (Operation Helping Hands)
Operation Helping Hand is a New Jersey initiative designed to connect individuals with substance use disorders to treatment and recovery services through proactive involvement from law enforcement.
Services Offered:
Community Outreach: The program includes outreach efforts to identify and assist those at risk of substance use issues, often through non-arrest methods.
Linkage to Treatment: Operation Helping Hand connects individuals to detoxification, treatment, aftercare, and community reintegration services.
Peer Recovery Coaches: Trained recovery coaches are available 24/7 to provide immediate support and guidance to individuals and their families. They assist in navigating community resources and help with recovery planning.
