Recovery Support

CPRWC is outsourcing its Substance Abuse Assessments. Evaluating clients is crucial for placing them in appropriate treatment programs. The assessment tools used include the Alcohol Screening Inventory (ASI) and the Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory (SASSI), both of which are extensively researched and effective for client evaluation.

Referrals are accepted from various sources, including Warren County Probation, the Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Crisis Center (DASACC), the Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS), school districts, other agencies in Warren County, and the general public. CPRWC has a long-standing reputation in the community for providing quality education, outreach, counseling, and prevention programs.

The cost for evaluations is $200. Consumers receiving state or county assistance may be eligible for a sliding scale fee, but this is not guaranteed. Please inquire about this option during registration. All referrals are welcome. To schedule an appointment, please call 908-835-1800..

Peer Recovery Support

Community Prevention Resources of Warren County (CPRWC) offers recovery coaching services that connect individuals seeking recovery with Certified Peer Recovery Specialists. This one-on-one support aims to help individuals overcome barriers and access valuable resources as they rebuild their lives. Recovery coaching provides not just a supportive hand or an empathetic ear, but also follows a structured approach that is tailored to meet the unique needs, circumstances, and goals of each individual.

Telephone Recovery Support

Telephone Recovery Support (TRS) is an innovative peer-to-peer service that facilitates ongoing telephone check-ins between individuals seeking recovery and members of the CPRWC team. Each week, a team member reaches out to check on the individual’s progress and share relevant information, such as community resources, pathways to recovery, and other support options to help address any challenges they may be facing.
